Please forgive my heathen ignorance, but what's this from?
some Christian denominations (though not the one to which I subscribe) use this as an end to prayer. I am told that the world without end part is to show trust that the Lord will never again destroy the world, that it truely 'without end'. I thought he only promised never to sendanother flood! Icould be wrong though, it has been known!
Ah. Thankee-sai!
The phrase comes more from the fact that God's world is never ending, meaning that once the time of judgement comes, all who have accepted will go to be with the Lord in the *answer deleted to not give it away*.
Amen!
Cute
Ephesians 3:21 - Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.
God said he would never destory the earth again by a flood. He set a rainbow in the sky so we would know his promise. However he did not say it could be destoryed by sickness, wars, and humans.
Loved it!
