Twisted Birthdays
One day, Jenny celebrated her birthday. Two days later, her older twin brother, Jerry, celebrated his birthday. How is this possible?
Answer
At the time she went into child labor, the mother of the twins was traveling by boat. The older twin, Jerry, was born first, early on March 1st. The boat then crossed the International Date Line, and therefore, Jenny, the younger twin, was born on February 28th. Therefore, the younger twin celebrates her birthday two days before her older brother every leap year.Hide Answer Show Answer

Sometimes twins can be born that seperate (poor mothers)
I figured that they just had separate parties. There's no law that says you have to celebrate your birthday on the actual birthday itself.
If you had put in a midnight too, then it could be 3 days apart!
I DON'T UNDERSTAND!!!!!!!!!!!! you could at least have told us they were twins!!!!!!!!!!!

there could be another answer. It said that Jerry was her twin brother, but does that mean HER twin? It could be Jenny and sum1 else r twins and Jerry and sum1 else r also twins
AM I WRONG?
AM I WRONG?
That is how I took it, I thought her brother was another childs twin but that is an interesting fact I never knew

You didn't even need the whole "International Dateline" concept...
1st child born Feb 28th at 11:59pm, Second child born Mar 1 at 12
1am...
1st child born Feb 28th at 11:59pm, Second child born Mar 1 at 12

But in that case, MYERS51, the younger twin would have the later birthday. So far this is the BEST teaser of this type that I have seen in Braingle
