I'm lost. I'm guessing this is plagiarized...but I don't want to just accuse like that...just a hunch because it uses such obscure ideas and words.
Alexander Pope wrote "The Rape of the Lock," in which the Baron steals a lock of a lady's hair. I would think most people would have appreciated an explanation of that particular clue. Otherwise, good riddle.
