very nice and beautifully ornamented, marvellously clothed.
Very good
Thank God I have a heightened lexicon or I would've never gotten those.

Exceptionally Well Done!!! It is gratifying to see evidence of others utilizing their brain case for something more than simply a convenient recepticle for placing a decorative covering!
This is more of a science one. Homosapiens? Be courteous to the younger ones! It was good though.
Heh.. pretty good.. only one i got was "early bird," and got parts of the other ones.. but i'm not sure all those words translate exactly the way you used em ... =P
yes,you have to remember the younger ones!!but that was good!

Great teaser, excellent comments, wish I was as witty.

One of the best, I got all but Number 2. After reading it again, I should have gotten it! Great puzzle. I like the ones you've got to think about and have unusual words. Good Job!
Got 'em all, but not because I know what any of those words mean. Major-league vocabulary exercise here. Really enjoyed it.

Keep 'em coming!
just one comment, the original quote is "all that glisters is not gold"! One never sees that, though.

I got them all, but it was a good workout!!!
I got them all.
Great one, loved it. But don't you mean "lumbricus terristris" for earthworm? And "trebly" is an adverb, not an adjective.
Now you have me doing it. I mean lumbricus terrestris.
That was H-A-R-D. But fun.
Good one!!! I got it right away. Enjoyed this.
I dunno, I'm young (less than 18 years) and I know about homosapiens and Aves...
I liked these, got them too!

I like these! You don't have to know the meaning of every word--just figure out a phrase or two, and if you are familiar with the saying it will jump out at you. I'm sure it takes longer to make these up than to fignure them out! Good work!
very easy but im a genius lol great job im 13 and figured this out
i never get any of these!!!!!
but they made sense so that means it's a great, really hard teaser.

Quite well elocuted. I'm amazed I got them all...
I got these pretty fast, I thought they were easy, but I'm "old" (meaning I'm over 15, LOL). Good work!

ENJOYABLE, BUT DEFINITELY ON THE EASY SIDE.
These were really enjoyable to figure out. You had to think thru the entire sentence to understand what it meant.
Easy,but not my thing.
I thought these were clever and provocative. I got 3 out of 4 and wished I had spent enough time to get the last one! Was in too big of a hurry.
Thanks!
Thanks!
I liked these. I got them all (well, I kind of got #2, I was a little off because I haven't heard that phrase in forever). Good job, kudos on the awesome teaser!

i came to sad conclusion today. If there was a riddle for the probability of me guessing tomorrows daily teaser, I'd acquiese to bestowing ascent.
supposed to be glisters... good quiz
I got two's company and also the glass houses... Fun Fun Fun!
Fun, fun, fun!
Nicely done! I'm sure it took you a lot longer to write that beautiful prose than it took us to figure them out. Now there's an exercise I'll have to try!
enjoyable teaser, my gray cells are not working I did get #2 and #4. had lots of fun.
Got three of the four .I really enjoyed it ,it was well written . I vote Send more, please
Great teaser! It was fun and I also increased my vocabulary - had to look up what aves meant but got the others.
Easy for me, but very fun! The mental picture of a bird "energizing from nocturnal hibernation" made me laugh for some reason... Thanks for submitting.
FABULOUS BUDDY
I had fun solving this teaser~!! I struggled a bit on #2 because I couldn't quite remember the first part of the phrase, but I didn't give up, and soon enough it came to me.
wow that was really really funny but it to hard dumb it down your to smart
Missed #3. Fun teaser.
Brilliant! You made my day.
Got 'em all but #2. Great teaser!
That was great!
See? There's a reason they made you study vocabulary in school!
Got 'em all! Wasn't really sure about #3, though.
Fun!
Fun!
I got all but #3 and would have gotten that if I had taken more time, But I hurried through. The hour is late. great teaser !
Pretty easy except for the third one (I had to look up Aves). Great job; I love this kind of teaser!
Very nice, but the first one, as translated into its best-known form, is patently untrue, insofar as "All that glitters is not gold" means, essentially, "Nothing that glitters is gold." But gold is one thing that does glitter." Hence the proverb is mistaken, and would better be rendered as, "Not everything that glitters is gold."
Number 3 threw me. I got the "awakening bird" but couldn't come up with "worm" - actually I spent only about 20 seconds thinking about it, so didn't really try I guess. I really enjoyed the teaser - you did a great job!!
I loved this puzzle! Thanks for posting!
This was an EXCELLENT teaser. Can't say I knew, or even know now, what each word means, but knowing most of them allowed me to solve all of the sentences.
Couldn't figure out the worm, but enjoyed it all, regardless It's great to be exposed to literary prowess at this point in time-
Easy, but very elegantly written. Impressive and fun.
I'm not a huge fan of verbose obfuscation teasers, but this one made me smile. It was particularly well done.
Too easy, when you know some of the words and the proverbs themselves.
