Many of these Math teasers seem thrown off in a hurry. It took me over an hour to write each of my math teasers...

[75/100 + 70/100]/2 = 72.5/100

The first comment states the solution incorrectly:
75 / 100 = 75%
(75+35) / (100+50) = 110/150 = 73.333%
You can't simply average percentages.

Besides, you don't need to figure the average. Since 35/50 is less than 75/100, Will's average was lowered and Jim's wasn't.
