No, the correct answer is 100

to arij, explain. geomtrically speaking,a circle is the only closed one-sided figure. nice play on words

actually, the more logical answer would be that it is has ifinite sides. This is easy to see considering the fact that you can use that logic to derive the area of a circle from the area of a regular polygon.

This play on words does not belong in the math section, but in Tricks or perhaps Language.

And if you insist on continuing the play on words, cut out a circle from a piece of paper and count the sides: 2.

Besides the fact that you are wrong, that probably took you only 1 minute to conceive and post.

IT WAS A SILLY QUESTION. ONLY FOOLS CAN THINK OF IT.

canu this is the trick section

uuuuummmmm, i missed it, WHOOSH! way over my dull blonde mind! no offense to other blondes, i am a special case!

guys come on lightrn up its just a teaser. Proplr make mistakes! I bet you guys make more than most if you have to point other's out in such a mean way. Anyway great teaser!

converse, u'r wrong. ur not a special case. when people tell me i just had a blonde moment, i just say i was born that way. which i was. so i hear. anyway.

clever.

clever.

i thought it was cute. i said "none, what

kind of question is that??" then i clicked on the answer. haha that can really make you feel dumb.

Same boat with u bookworm...same answer same feeling after reading the answer...

It's a joke.. a play on words...hence the category trick, not math. Lighten up people, it's not like he was trying to say that was the real answer. I think he probably knew that that wasn't what it really was. I thought it was funny and i don't think you committed any sins to the Geometry god or something. Keep up the good work.

he had me! I was saying 1: the side that went all the way around. I was way off compared to the answer some of you gave like 100!

Way to go!

Good teaser!

Good teaser!

i did this a month ago, and i got it wrong again.

Problem is, this apparently does have two answers. Either the true answer (1), or the figurative answer he provides (2). Since we have on way to distinguish which one he wants from the original teaser, this one poops out.

from what my geometry teacher taught us, a circle has 1!!! side.

clever though

Oh brother!

That was the coolest Mr. G

thanks

I think my two year old niece could have figured that one out. That has nothing to do with math by the way. Maybe you should try again with a better teaser.

that was good! very good!

That was a joke my dad used to tell all the time.....good times.

I've known that for years, I can't believe I didn't think of submitting that one myself. lol

i thought the answer was 27..........

um i thought at 1st none but then it said circle not a cphere and a chere has none but a circle does have 2 very vey clever i like tht 1 very much thx! it was fun! :

That was a good one next time u should say that it is a sphere

That part of the title that says Logic fooled me. lol. But it's pretty good.

i didnt follow that!!@ my house, , , , , , , ,, uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuum. i forget

hey ankita i must b a fool cause....I GOT IT RITE I GOT IT RITE I GOT IT RITE!!!!! ahh

and yes by the way a circle has infinite sides

thats so cute!

i m telling that to my math teacher!!!!!

hahaha that was good.

funny!!!!!!!!hehehehahaha!!!!!!i thought circles had no sides....good one!

Heh, I got this one right because my dad was given a question like this on his driving test - how many sides are there on a stop sign? He answered 2 - inside and outside.

Gave me a laugh!

hehe, good one.

You know what confuses a stupid person?Tell 'em to sit in a corner in a circular room.Do you know how a stupid person confuses you?She comes out and sais she/he did it.

Hm. Circle Logic? Sorry, I don't think so. A circle has an infinite amount of sides. :3

thats was really tricky

This was a silly question. The answer should actually be infinity, becasue there are an infinite number of POINTS in a circle.

this was really st-up-id i guessed it right too... figures

I could be infinite or two.

Infinite is correct

However, a circles is not a polygon because the definition of a polygon is an enclosed figure with a definite number of line segments.

way to easy ive heard it a million times

well it could've been four: inside, outside,(and on paper) front and back!

Haha!

I thought zero or an infinite number.

eight then

inside, outside, front, back, top bottom, left, and right

inside, outside, front, back, top bottom, left, and right

Ummm...that's not how it works, I assure you.
