Brain Teasers
Twiglet
Situation
Situation puzzles (sometimes called lateral thinking puzzles) are ones where you need to ask lots of yes or no questions to figure out what happened in the situation. These are good puzzles for groups where one person knows the puzzle and answers the questions.Situation
One time when the airline police were checking the suitcases they found a dog carrier with a dead dog in it. The manager, fearing a huge lawsuit, sent out for a new dog that looked like the dead one. He finally got a hold of one and slipped the old collar that said Twiglet on the new, lively puppy. He took the dog to the woman who owned him and rang the doorbell. "Here is Twiglet ma'am," he gave the dog carrier to her. She took one look at the dog and screamed. "That's not my Twiglet," she yelled. What is going on?
Answer

Very good. I like this one.
I also liked this one... good effort.
I thought they might've gotten genders mixed up, I liked it anyways though
surely the woman would be facing a lawsuit if she tried to ship a live animal in her suitcase. the airline would not be liable

OK -- sticking to the fact that this is a brain teaser here and not a real-life situation: good job!! I actually got that one.
clever clever
lol!
A bit nonsensical. One would never ship a dead dog in a dog carrier. Dead bodies start to ooze and stink, and the airline wouldn't have accepted it in the first place.
Who would send a dead dog in a carrier? What kind of fool would assume the dog was sleeping and holding his breath, and never waking up for a whole plane ride?
Got it right away because I saw on TV an urban legend about a man who thought his dog had killed the neighbour's rabbit, so he set it up in its hutch outside to look like it had died a natural death. Then it turned out the dog had only dug it up from its grave. XD
However, this puzzle is nonsensical for reasons already pointed out. I appreciate that situation puzzles require yes or no questions, but the solutions should at least be bounded in reality.
