Logic-Grid
Logic Grid puzzles come with a handy interactive grid that will help you solve the puzzle based on the given clues.Logic-Grid
Karen has four children that are different ages: 13, 7, 6 and 2. Each of the children has a favorite toy: a robot, cars, Lego's, and blocks. Also each of the children has a favorite holiday: Valentine's Day, Christmas, Thanksgiving and Mother's Day.
Who's who and what do they like?

9. The second child loves Christmas.

I did not like this one at all, because almost all of the clues are based on assumptions and not logic!! I understand you were trying to be clever, But assumptions are incompatible with logic. For example, just because blocks are good toys for toddlers (which they are) doesn't mean they are the favorite. My son is a toddler and he adores cars, blocks and Lego's!
True. Very obscure clues take all the fun out of the puzzle.
I agree with them...and aren't legos a type of block??
i thought it was hard and really confusing.all around it's real good.
I liked it, but found the ages of of the middle children confusing -- nowadays some kinderg. students are 7! But it was fun
That was a cute fun teaser! However, the third child is the one that likes presents, since the six year old, the second child, already likes thanksgiving.
it was great!!! i loved it i ve added it 2 my fav s!!!!!!! it is the best 1 so far keep up the good work!!!

that was so easy its not even funy
I agree with everyone. This relies almost completely on assumptions. This is supposed to be a LOGIC puzzle! Sometimes I think people don't understand exactly how these puzzles work.
And, by the way, presents are not only given at Christmas. If you had said this family only gives presents at Christmas, you could have then been correct, but that should be included in the description or clue, not as a hint.

ragsdaleam I will tell you about logic. you said you agree with everyone else. to agree means everyone is sharing the same thought. there were those who liked it and enjoyed figuring it out and there were anal people.
This would have been extremely easy, but some of your clues were messed up. The second child likes to receive presents ~ meaning Christmas, however, you have the second child's favorite Holiday as Thanksgiving. Otherwise, it was quite fun!
I changed the the legos to puzzles to make the teaser more logical. I also changed a few of the hints.
if a child is 7 in kindergarten they will be 19 when they graduate, 20 if they fail or their birthday comes late and 21 if they fail and their b-day comes late. I feel sorry for any child that has a parent doing this to them. I'm talking about the kids in the States because I have no idea what goes on in different countries dealing with school. I just know that I am a teacher and I hear the kids make fun of those that fail. I have a 13 year old in my 5th grade class. It's actually sad.
nice. mahalo!
The clues say puzzle but the grid still says legos. I figured Legos are a kind of puzzle so it was still really easy.
the whole puzzle lego thing was confusing... solvable though
THIS IS TO EVERYONE THAT IS SEEING THIS FOR THE 1ST TIME. I CHANGED MY TEASER BUT I WAS NOT GIVEN THE OPTION TO CHANGE MY GRID SO PUZZLE IS ACTUALLY ON THE GRID AS LEGOS.
NOT TOO CONFUSING BUT SOME NEED THIS NOTE!!!! SORRY 4 THE CONFUSION
NOT TOO CONFUSING BUT SOME NEED THIS NOTE!!!! SORRY 4 THE CONFUSION
I think it was very well put, all the other comments notwithstanding. Also I agree with second "child" as the first one has been classified as a "toddler" !!!
To everyone: Second child means second oldest, as in the 7 year old...the second child (born)!!!
Good Job Trickster!!! I'm Glad that someone else corrected the faulty logic of people who did not realize that the second child is the second child born, i.e. the second oldest>>>the seven year old. As you said, Trickster, some people who talk about logic wouldn't recognize true logic if it hit them in the face with a baseball bat!!!!

I just thought I'd comment that the teaser in it's current form was not at all confusing to me. While it was easier than I normally enjoy, it was straightforward and not confusing at all.
i don't think you need clue number two..

why does everyone have to be soo catty? if you don't like it fine! but u do not have to be mean about it.

I mean obviously there is constructive criticism, and that is Good! Although Some of these comments are off the wall! I let my children do these brainteasers, and I would be highly upset if htey posted a teaser on here and got unencouragement like this!
Easy-peasy after the last one I solved.
