Brain Teasers
Accomplice to a Crime
Riddle
Riddles are little poems or phrases that pose a question that needs answering. Riddles frequently rhyme, but this is not a requirement.Riddle
You leave deep marks on my soul every time we meet,
Yet I'll always stand by you and cater to your need.
I'll hold your deepest secrets, accomplice to a crime I'll be,
If you lost your hope in people, the one you can trust is me.
I'll never leave, I'll never lie, I'll never let you down,
I'll offer you the sweetest smile and take away the frown.
I'll set your spirit free, I'll always understand,
Once yours, for richer or for poorer, I'll always be your friend.
Answer
A diary. The marks left on its "soul" are the written pages. A diary can be one's best friend, and will replace the frown with the sweetest smile by taking a load off of one's heart.

Ver good riddle, smarty! I especially like the rhyming!
oops! Sorry! That was not supposed to be a sad face but this:
Ignore that sad face!! My fingers aren't awake yet! I need more coffee!

Nicely constructed! The rhyming is nice, but I especially like your touch of metaphor.
A diary! I never would have thought of that. Good teaser anyway. Goes to my favs because of the peotic flow.
Well thank you very much, considering that english is not my native language, i'm prety proud of it myself . Thank you all again

good question (maybe he agrees with everyone )
He's a man of the cloth. I confide in him when I take confessions. He is a salving to my soul. He's the one whose "for richer or for poorer" intonation saw me married off. He certainly is not the
