Even after looking at the answer I don't understand it...Explain!!! I'm pretty good at math, at least I thought so until this puzzle???!!!!

it would take me a lifetime to figure that one out! I never got past Algebra 3 & 4. I've been out of school for 13 years!
For those of you that don't know,
PI = Diameter / Radius
It used for the area of a circled:
Area = PI * r ^ 2
PI = Diameter / Radius
It used for the area of a circled:
Area = PI * r ^ 2
I guess my mind won't work in rounding with these series things. I'll have to add another dimension to my problem-solving, where every 8 could be 8.82...

I did it another way and got 280,b y checking the diff between the numbers and the diff between those numbers and then adding back to reach the next no. Wonder if that made any sense !

your 2nd # doesnt make sense 3*3*3=27 not 31
It's not 3 cubed, stupid (that's your name, not an insult ) it's 3 to the power of pi. Not the same at all.
