Brain Teasers
Traditional Baking
Detective Sing was out to dinner with one of his friends, Johnny.
"Check it out, Dan," Johnny said. "It's a franchise for a traditional Australian bakery - everything that we make is based on traditional colonial recipes! It's going to be a hit! We're not even going to make bread, just damper. Even better, the guy I'm buying it from can get me a great deal on the main ingredients for the damper, flour and milk! How can it go wrong?"
"It sounds like a great idea, Johnny," said Detective Sing "But he's lying when he says he's making the food the traditional way."

Answer
While damper is made now using milk and self raising flour, it was originally made using water and plain flour, with a pinch of salt.Hide Answer Show Answer

Great one. I missed it but will do some homework and learn more about damper. I'll even try to make some and see if I think his bakery would have been a go in my neighborhood.
I got that one realatively easily, but that's only because you made the ingredients stand out a little too much in the context of the riddle. It's a good one though.
Good
Yee Haaaa, I got one!!!! so Nice to get one of these! I like the story line best
We bake it in a camp oven now but the real swaggies buried it in the ashes of the fire. Nice to give these boards a bit of international flavour(sic).
