On the fourth he picked 8 apples. If this pattern continues, then how many days will it take him to pick 67,108,864 apples???

After 26 days he had picked 67 108 863 apples and he had to go back the next day for 1 more? HA! 
Jimbo - after 26 days he picked 33,554,432 apples... but yeah, Ultimatehorse, that must be quite a tree!! (I thought it was a trick and that the answer would be 'never - no tree could have that many apples'
