Was fun to work. Good Job.
Yeah that was a thinker. I didn't get the last one. Great one
EZ and fun! Nice job!!

Working crossword puzzles helped me. Fairly easy but interesting.
My biggest problem wasI tried to make each group rhyme. Once I figured out they didn't have to, I got them. Good teaser. Thanks for posting.
I only got the last set of words. I guess I didn't try hard enough.
I also mistakenly thought the words needed to rhyme. The directions were O.K., but the example put me on the wrong track. I got #2 right away, but had to give up on the rest because I misunderstood.
Not too hard and not too easy and lots of fun! Thanks!
Good one. The first one almost did me in.
"Free from color" is actually black. White is all colors. Good one otherwise.
Nice teaser. I enjoyed that one! Thanks! Have a great day, KiPA.
AROB. GiMi and AS may your day be full of joy.
I was also going to post white being polychromatic and not "free from colour" but I see I was beaten to it.
Fun puzzle all the same. (Got stuck on #3 though - newer, sewer, ?ewer.) I too tend to try to make these rhyme, even when I realize they don't have to.

In the case of Color as Pigment or Molecular Coloring Agents, white is NOT a color and black is the mixture all the primary colors.
In the case of Color as Light, White is a color and black is NOT.
So technically, this teaser is correct! Though pretty hard to get right!

I LOVE these knowledgeable comments of late! Really fun, brainy commenters!
Still a tough one. Hi Gayle & doehead.
I have to agree with the other two comments; white is most definitely a color - even as a pigment. Titanium white, due to the molecule titanium dioxide, is a very common white pigment used in many coloring applications.
Nice T4easer. My attraction to word puzzles made this doable.
I have to agree with the one comment that her, or his, instructions made it sound like they were all to rhyme. She or he could have used a better set of words to illustrate.
Sorry, I did not like it!

I found this fun and challenging at the same time. I guess that is because I enjoy word games. I got them all after a little trial and error. Thanks for posting.
The first set I got right away and it was a lot of fun! But after that it was hard and I couldn't get any of them, lol! Oh well. I still had a lot of fun working my way through this!
Nice teaser. Unfortunately I became distracted by the color issues. The black vs white question was raised early on by other commentors (sp?), but I was surprised that no one pointed out that red+yellow+black is not actually brown. In pigments brown is made by mixing a primary color with its complementary color, so all browns include some combination of red+yellow+blue.
Enjoyed this fun and challenging teaser; I got three out of four correct - could not get the first one.
I'm with MrBill, couldn't get the first set. The other three took some head scratching for me as well. Terrific puzzle! Simultaneously simple and challenging. I am really glad that I overcame my initial urge to give up. It was worth spending the time to solve this.
