I understood the instructions to mean that the first four-letter word was an anagram of the second four-letter word and the first five-letter word was an anagram of the second five letter word. I was surprised to see the letters from the first two words ALL mingled together to make the two new words. Oh well, that's life !
I've known this anagram, and have heard a teaser similar to this before, good job though
