Once I realized the word was rat in the first sentence, it became pretty easy.
Excellent teaser Brainster! Glad to see it as Teaser of the day!!
I thought u would use TAR to snare the RAT, and that made the other 2 sentences not make much sense.
It took a bit of rearranging to come out with 3 sensible sentences, but it was workable. Enjoyed this one very much. Thanks.
I liked this one. Thanks.
I don't get it? Tar, Pat, Apt, Rat, It should have been Easy, Easier. I guess logically, I off base, so I won't waste, i can think of two more appropriate words than Atp. I am so disappointed. This was a good teaser. I enjoyed trying to work it out.
I didn't get some of them. Still nice teaser.
I'm in agreement w/doehead.
Easy, peasy, but fun.
As my username indicates, easy but enjoyable!
very nice.
It was easy for me after I kept reading and got the message that the anagrams were of the first 3 not of the 2nd in the sentence. I liked it.
I misunderstood the directions and was trying to use anagrams in the same sentence. That is, in the first one I got art and rat. When you are wrong, you are wrong.
easy, fun, excellent.
I believe generally when used as a verb stanch is usually used rather that staunch. It isn't incorrect though.

Three years ago I said easy! This time I got Group 2 but not Group 1! Losing brain cells
Decent teaser. Enjoyed it.
Oh ... by the by .... it's been TEN days since a new teaser has been posted.
We (I and BB02) have several "awaiting" (in the queue which is NOT a 'queue') and one that has FOUR approved votes, but no action.
WHAT are the editors doing? All we can tell you is that a couple of them have not "signed on" in several weeks.
Bade news.

I think it took me longer to understand the directions than it did to solve the teaser. It was a fun teaser.
Interesting twist spreading the anagrams across sentences. Had to adjust my brain a bit. The second set came quickly, but the first took me some time. I'm REALLY glad the puzzle told me that they were three letter words. This would have been very tough (for me) without that.
