Hurricane Juan of 1985
Hurricane Andrew of 1992
Hurricane Fran of 1996
Hurricane Betsy of 1965
Hurricane Agnes of 1972
Hurricane Bob of 1979
Hurricane Juan of 1985
Hurricane Andrew of 1992
Hurricane Fran of 1996
Hint
The years are important, because the names are reused.Answer
Bob of 1979. The other five are very destructive storms. Bob was a minor storm, but Bob is not remembered for what it did. Bob is remembered for being the first "himicane". Prior to 1979 all storms had female names. The years are important because a storm name is reused six years later, unless it was a particularly destructive storm. Thus Bob of 1979 is also the only one on the list whose name was later reused (in 1985 and 1991).

Not very hard for me, we just learned about hurricanes in school But it was still real fun.
i heard from somewhere that Andrew is not being used anymore
Hard one, I didn't get it, but thanks, i learned something.
So call them himicanes.
Went on gut feeling and I wa right.
Me too, Meganan. I do recall hearing that Bob was the first male name given to a hurricane so that must have been stuck in the back of my mind. Good bit of information, thanks for posting.
"Himicane". Now that's funny!
Then there is a third kind. ONACANE. Usually found after broken legs
well blow me down!
Took a guess and got it right, but the most wicked storms I remember were Dolly in 1954, and Gloria in the 80's. I got caught in both of them.
Too hard for me this morning or afternoon. Late nights will do that to ya. It was fun trying though.

AWESOME TEASER!!!!!1!!1
i thought it was hard even though I got it right.
fun teaser. I remember most of them but I had forgotten the first himicane
I got it right, but for the wrong reason. I picked it because it is the only one that doesn't have an even number in its year.
I picked Juan, the only non-American name. After I read the answer, I realized that I probably should have gotten it.
Wow, that was very informative. I love to learn new things!!!
Great teaser. Had forgotten
about hurricane Bob.
I didn't remember "himicanes" or Hurricane Bob. So learned a lot. Thanks - very interesting.
i am going t0 name this rainstorm fran
I guessed right, but for the wrong reason; thought 'Hurricane Bob', was a boxer( LOL )
Interesting teaser, thanks!
Interesting teaser, thanks!
Not great, but very interesting. I was going along those lines, but just didn't know the ones that were reused or not.
Got it right but for the wrong reason. Bob was the only male name I found
