The Sibling Rivalry Week
Logic-Grid
Logic Grid puzzles come with a handy interactive grid that will help you solve the puzzle based on the given clues.Logic-Grid
Fightland Street is famous for 5 friends who have 1 sibling each. One particular week, each of these friends broke into a fight with their siblings on a different day of the week and for a different stupid reason (sibling fights are seldom intelligent). Fortunately, they soon realised how childish they were being and decided to patch up in a unique and special way. With the help of these clues, can you figure out who fought with whom, for what reason, on which day and how did they patch up?
1. Charles accused his sister of stealing his watch; but on realizing that he himself had misplaced it, he bought her a nice new skirt.
2. Since Harry fought with his sister over an eatable item, she gifted him another eatable item to patch-up.
3. The siblings to fight on Monday argued about who was a better basketball player.
4. Bob does not have a sister.
5. The boy who gave his brother a silk tie to patch-up, fought with him on Thursday.
6. Jane did not fight on Tuesday.
7. The brother-sister pair to fight over the phone went to Pizza Hut to patch-up, which for some strange reason, is only opened on Wednesdays.
8.Emma and George went to a movie.
9. Ira is not Charles' sister.

Reasons for fight: Basketball, Chocolates, Watch, Phone, New T-shirt

Semi-difficult and fun. I thought Ira was a boy's name.
ALL logic grid puzzles are enjoyable to conquer. I have always felt that you have to find the fun in anything you do! It is YOU who will make others laugh, and/or yourself. If you can't laugh at yourself, then you should hold your tongue at downgrading anyone else! The same works with handing out compliments... This is the main reason, I enjoy testing myself with any and ALL of the brain teasers. Keep up the terrific work!
Enjoyed this one!
Good teaser...I could not find enough girls until I looked at the hint to see that Ira is a girl in this puzzle. Thanks for the fun!!!
I really enjoyed this one - I think out of all your teasers, this one's my favorite!
Great job, dishu!!!
Great job, dishu!!!
It's a surprise to me that people find Ira to be a boy's name, as it is a very common girl'e name in my country.
I had more problem with Denver as a name - had to look at the hint to see if that was a girl or boy.
Smoooth filling out the grid. Good thing I assumed Denver was a boy and Ira was a girl Fun and challenging
i really liked it! thanx! it was hard but not so hard that it just made u want to give up. i like that. the only thing is i try not to look at the hints and so i had no idea who was a girl and who was a boy!!! next time i wud either use more obvious names or not define gender in the hint. (for stubborn ppl like me who refuse to look at the hint!! ) thanx tho, it was a great teaser!!
haha, well done! i was almost thro, then my friend interrupted me and i had to start from scratch again! but, it held my attention and made me wanna finish! well done!
I agree. Lots of fun but those gender names... Tricky tricky tricky. Thanks a lot!
very good teaser! i am happy i finally got one right tonight!
Fun and a bit more difficult than your Reincarnation teaser.
Fun. For my druthers, I think you should be able to solve the puzzle without making assumptions or pulling up the hint. In this case, you either had to assume that Denver was a boy, or look at the hint to find out. At least with Ira, there's a clue that refers to Ira as a girl. It's a good teaser otherwise, so it seems to me you don't need to be so coy about the genders, unless you're going to lace a hint in there to figure out Denver's gender.
I had to look at the hint to see if Denver was a boy, and if Ira was a boy or a girl.
I think it made it harder for me, because I know a boy named Ira.

Hmmm...I never for a second thought Denver was a girl. I thought Ira was a boy but then I saw the comment that Ira was not "so-and-so's" sister so I figured Ira must be a girl. I got the puzzle right without looking at the hints.
By the way dishu, very good job! Difficult but fun and in my opinion, solvable without any hints!

yay did it without the grid very good teaser
I too have never heard Ira as a girl's name. However, the small print is a bit hard for me to see and I assumed it said "Iris" until I got to the last clue :-). So I was going along assuming that that last column was a girl anyway.
