As Usual, great fun, good job. Thank you
Jazz, you let me down. I thought this was to easy. You are usually tougher.
got stuck on 1st one , thought acc `ord` and acc `ent` but got all the others easily, thx jazz, us birdbrains need an easy one now & again
For the first one you can also add "rue" to get "accrue" and "ruer"
I had some trouble with the first one, but the rest came easily enough. I thought it wad fun. Thanks Jazz, as usual you gave us a good one.
I also got 'accrue'. And I missed 'dunga', but I got everything else! Nice little puzzle; thanks for posting.
I got all except dunga(ree)ling. Thanks for giving my brain a workout on this Monday morning.
Thank you --- this was "Easy Enough" for a little fun; yet "Hard Enough" for a little thought!

I, too, had trouble with the first one and managed to get the rest. Good job as usual Jazz. Thanks for posting.
I agree with sourdough. Just the way I like them!
I got it! But it was still challenging, requiring some hit and miss guesses.
Never heard of the word dungaree. Great teaser!
Yeah ... it was fun, thanks. Got 'em all without pencil and paper.
Oh, Fuchunky ... dungarees are an old type of blue-jeans ... a little baggy.
Thanks for your comments Sorry to take a while to get back to you all, but I've been away on holidays for some weeks.
Thanks, Jazz! I got these today - I enjoy this type of puzzle!
Hi KiPA
Hi KiPA
I got 'accrue' for the first, and all the rest easily. Enjoyable!!
I liked this one it actually made me stop and think.
That was a good one. Not too hard. It just took a little thought and a little time. Fun!
Got them all with very little effort.
C'mon BB02 I'm not sure what time the TOTD goes up each evening, but I know it has been up for several hours now.
Currently, it is 0740 EDT - which makes it 2340 in New Zealand. There is no excuse for you to not have posted.
You harass the rest of us to post and comment ,yet here you are again failing to do so yourself!
I care what sort of dictatorship you work for, you should have had ample opportunity to "sneak" online and vote and post even a few sentences.

*That was supposed to say "I DON'T care what sort of dictatorship ....."
Got em all but the first, but should have gotten it. Well done.
Pretty good teaser. I didn't get the first one, but the rest were easy. Thanks
Careful, HABSIE ... you might be courting trouble for yourself in your hysterical zeal to nail me with something trivial, here.
It's now early dawn in NZ, I am alone in my quarters (a sorta bed-'n'-breakfast called a "chummie") and, although equipped with Wi-Fi, my computer (company policy) triggers a connection with its IPC through our cloud server and records everything sent-received.
But before we get to that, let me clear up something else you inquired about earlier - the time dif USA-TOKYO and my calling it USA-CDT instead of Daylight Saving Time.
The hotel (small one off the Ginza) had only ONE clock in the lobby for ALL of North America (Including for Canookies) and it was ALWAYS set at "CDT". And ... you know, CDT is always CDT even when it's DST.
Apparently the Japanese thought that would be plain enough for everyone, but evidently not so for you.
Back to here and now ... and it's NOT so dire and Draconian (LIU) as you make it out to be.
this project is sponsored - in part - by grants from our DOD (Dept of Defense) and ANZAC (THEIR DOD).
It's a low-clearance op ... only about a "five" on a scale of "seven" (lowest) to "one" highest, so all they're doing now is recording IPC's and such.
And I knew all this when I took the job.
But .. since both the hot labs and the cold labs are NOT ready (thus no data) I thought I would not cause a stir if I got "on line" during the "nine-to-five" boogie.
Not so. I was first "called out" for mentioning the name of the city we are working near.
So ... don't get your feathers all-a-kerfuffle.
I'm doin' the best I can, here. Meantime YOU and YOU and YOU and YOU ,...all comment and vote.
NOW !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"had only ONE clock in the lobby for ALL of North America (Including for Canookies)"
I am sorry, I am not familiar with the term "Canookies".
And we have 5 time zones here (including a special one for people like "Newf" (who is NOT from Nova Scotia). LOL
And you said CST the other day not CDT.
Anyway I am tired of this petty crap. I don't really care what you are doing, or where you are.
PS - As mentioned before, I was a "BASE BRAT". And though we call it DND, I know wht the DOD is.
I would also like to know what HABSIE i suppoed to mean? While HABS makes total sense, adding the "IE" to the end does not.
It would be akin to you calling yourself METS or PACKERS and me adding an IE to the end and making it METSIE or PACKERSIE.

One other thing - that was REALLY funny.
Orientation last week, especially on security protocols & regs.
The NZ guys on the teams said if you violated security that you had to put on Koss High Efficiency earphones and listen to "Waltzing Mathilda" for six hours.
I agreed that was "punishment extreme" and then mentioned that I knew a Canookian named HABSIE who hated me SSSOOOOO much she would fly out here just to turn the volume up to FULL !!
"Canookien" = "Canuck" + "ian" as in Virginia ; Virginian.
HABS + IE = (added term of endearment) as in
BUGGSY (BUGS + SY)
POOPSIE (POOPS + IE)
DEAR + IE
BOB + IEA

I hate no one. Not a single person do I hate.
I would however delight in watching you tap your feet while listening to such delightful music. And while, yes, I may turn it up full blast, it would not be to annoy you, bur rather to help you enjoy the music, as at your age, it is likely your hearing is not what it once was.
And Canookian would only make sense if there was such a place as Canuck. IT is like me calling you an Yankian. (Yankee+ian).
And as I am semi-retired I have a lot of spare time on my hands so I can keep up this "debate" for as long as you can.

so true.
As long as you can find some tiny flaw in my comments you can continue to focus on meaningless trivia and live in a state of denial about what is really happening to Braingle.
If Braingle collapses it will be largely due to members like yourself who refuse to acknowledge the facts.
So sad. So very, very sad.

How am I responsible? You have just shown back up after an absence of several years. I've been on here (as a paid member) for 3 years.
I am on multiple times a day, reading teasers, taking and writing quizzes as well as participating in the forums and TBs. I play both WWG and WTB with regularity. I am much more active than you are and contribute across many areas of the stie.
You on the other hand focus all you energy on a small area of the site. And your "Save the Site" campaign has (as is evidenced by the absence of some regular posters) driven people away.
But if YOU want to live in a state of denial where you are a savior, good on ya! You continue to believe that.
Wheter people comment or not, they are still on the site.
I have said before and will say again, what we need is NEW material, not the same teasers and quizzes being shown over and over and over again.
We need to encourage people to contribute that way and not just by writing comments and voting. Comment are not what drives the site, the material is, and if it is stale and boring to people (who have seen it multiple times), than that is what is going to spell the end.
There are very few books that I find interesting enough to read more than once or twice, the same holds true for this material.
I have also mentioned before the lack of comments may be due to the fact that many of the regulars have commented on the teaser/quiz in the past.
My opinion of the teaser is not going to have changed from 3-4 years ago, and I rarely say anything if I do not care for the material.

Anyway, as I said, I bore easily and I am bored of this conversation..
I will not comment on this thread again nor will I be commenting on future teasers.
I am not going to be bullied by a keyboard warrior.

Sorry about my brother
WOW !!!!
Hey, folks, we are in the midst of a significant "first" (maybe) in the annals of Braingle weirdities.
A "bunny-clone"
Nevertheless .........
WELCOME, BRO !!!!
And I hereby declare you ...
AUTOMATICALLY a member of the L-E-B (League of Extraordinary Brainglers).
Do any of you remember "legacy" pledges from your College Frat days?
If a pledge had an older brother who had been a member-in-good-standing of the frat then the bro-pledge became - automatically - a "legacy" (LIU) member of the frat if, of course, they accepted the "pin" (pledge-wise) and survived initiation.
So .... BadBunnee03 is now a L-E-B member and, heretofore (now herein declared by ME [The Grande Vizier of L-E-B] all OTHER BadBunnee follower-clones will endure the same .... er... ahhh .... privileges.
Updated list of L-E-B members (HABSIE is ... surprisingly ... one) will follow (maybe) in a few hours.
Nice Day to ya !!!!!!!!!!

I didn't realize that all three letters were used on both words. For example, #2 I thought was urge and entity. I'm sure the directions were clear and I just missed it.
Easy, but fun
Fun, entertaining and easy teaser. I got them all very quickly.
This was the first one of these for me. I got them all except for the first one. I enjoyed this teaser. Did not enjoy all the soap opera stuff. Would be nice if comments were just about subject we are voting on. Will look for the other teasers like this one.
Fun, easy and entertaining; I got all of them very quickly again just like the first time I tried this teaser.
