You didnt say how they died, unless they were fish, in which case you should say that they were fish!
They could have been poisoned by something put in their glasses...

hmmm, thought maybe they fell through a window and bled to death. there was no mention of what made the floor damp, so it could have been their blood.

i thought a tree brach blew throungh the window in a thounder storm and killed them and the rain came through the window
