good teaser...got it when i read the hint
Very easy!
It took me a bit but I figured it out when I noticed it was the alphabet backwards. I went through it and noticed there was no gain and then there was no pain. I didn't need the hint but it still took me a minute or so. Awesome teaser. I plan on sending this one to my hubby and seeing if he can get it. I love it when I get them and he can't.
Good one. I didn't realize any of the letters were missing until I read the hint, THEN it was pretty simple for me.
Even with the explanation, it took me a minute. I need to work on this kind of teaser more.
very easy
That was very cute! Thank you!
VERRRRY good! had me stum ped I thought it was along the lines of `the rain in spain etc LOL
That was fantastic! Going in my faves!
Fun But awfully easy...
It was very easy!
Loved it. I got half way there, and just couldn't get the final answer. Missing p and g was as far as I got.
I liked how it was easy, but not so easy I didnt have loads of fun!
Fun but I got it too quickly
Must have been my kind of puzzle
I always read left to right, but
then check the other direction.
Thumb through magazines back
to front. Weird
Thanks Rose Good One

That WAS a real workout - for the brain!

amazing! That was a great one
how do i make a teaser of my own?
I got it right. Well slap my butt and call me Sally. I didn't think I'd get it. It just popped right out at me. Thanks so much for the post.
I really enjoyed that one.

I usually can't get rebuses at all, but this one I got immediately WITHOUT the hint! FUN!! Thank you!

I got it!!! It was not too hard once I realized the G was missing and I thought "gain". Good teaser.
No gain, but pain from another old repeat.
I notices the p was missing, and this just suddenly clicked. Keep these coming!
NICE!
I figured out the sequence immediately, and figured they were all there, then I read the hint and got the answer.

Easy and fun!
I got it as soon as I read the hint. This was really good--and it's the first time I saw it. I really don't mind repeats--don't we listen to the same songs over and over! And I love to watch the reruns on TV-land! I've even read some books more than once!
I'm with you Icann. Loved this one, and got it right this time.
Three years ago I got this w/o the hint! This time I didn't remember having seen it before, nor did I have the patience to get it on my own. With the hint I did get it right away--great fun, again! Wordmama will become a grandma this winter--older and fuzzier-brained!
Good one, though I got it as soo as is saw zain and yain
Good one!
Congratulations wordmama! It's a wonderful time of life! Enjoy!

It reminded me of: the rain in Spain falls mainly on the plain!

Very good! I liked this one and had fun with it!
In the weird world of inexplicable Newfie logic, children are taught the alphabet backwards (often before they learn it forward). I was one of those children, I could recite the alphabet in reverse (and very quickly) by the age of 2 or 3. Therefore, the first thing that popped out to me was the alphabetical sequence. The rest took me another second or two to realise which letters (or words) were missing.
Good teaser!
Good teaser!
Interesting story, HABS - I also learned the alphabet backwards. I thought my sister and I were the only ones who knew that. The only thing that came to my mind in solving this teaser is the line from My Fair Lady - The rain in Spain lies mainly in the plain.
I taught myself the backwards alphabet when I used to decode ciphers and thought I was alone. What a surprise to learn that many others also know it backwards. Even my birthday sister. Have a great weekend.
When I was in high school, a friend bragged that she could say the alphabet backwards; so I of course had to quickly learn it and show off that I could do it too. I was able to figure out the teaser pretty quickly. (When I first glanced at it, I also thought of "the rain in Spain" line.)
Thanks for the Fun Teaser!!
Thanks for the Fun Teaser!!
easy and fun
Clever teaser. Well written. Thanks for posting!
Very good rebus. Exemplary. I like that you chose to go the extra mile by reversing the sequence, so that the "lack of pain" comes before the "lack of gain." While otherwise it works just fine, this is quite better.
Fun, easy and entertaining teaser; I got this one very quickly.
I liked the reverse ordering. A bit harder than alphabetical, and much better than a random scramble.
