Shuffle 2
Language
Language brain teasers are those that involve the English language. You need to think about and manipulate words and letters.Language
In this teaser, you are to start with the letter 'U', and then each time add a letter and shuffle it to make a new word. You need to continue this process until you reach the word 'PRODUCE'.
Not including 'U', you must do this in six (6) turns.
Good luck.

Took some thinking on this one!! Great job!!
i thought it was hard
Thank you
Now I really did enjoy this one, good teaser, lol!
Too hard at this hour
It was tricky but fun to do. I hope there are lots of this sort of problem.
I used UP - CUP - PUCE - COUPE but you got me on RECOUP!
Fairly easy but still a good one
I got started on the right track, but then got lost. Recoupe just wouldn't come to me. Thanks, Jazz, for the great early morning workout.
That was a good one. I got started on the right track but grew impatient to get on with my day and peeped at the answer. I like that kind of teaser though when I have more time to see it through. Keep um coming.
Ugh! complete brain melt on this one! to early! good teaser but very hard at 6 am
"recoup" got me, too. I thought that maybe it was "couped," and didn't keep working on it, so that stopped me.
Thanks. This was fun!
Thanks. This was fun!
I got lost along the way, but it still worked out. We all had produce at the end. Thanks for the great teaser. I enjoyed it.
Monday~

It also works with croup in the 5th position. good one
I also got lost along the way, but I gave up too soon. Next time I'll try harder.Good one, Jazz.
Found a couple of different ways to do it, not too hard, yet not too easy. Thanks for this fun teaser!
I was doing it in my head, so got most of it!! A nice teaser!
kinda hard, but it made me think
lol iy was kinda hard but a good one though
great teaser again jazz... i came up with "croup" as my fourth choice instead of "coupe" but ended with the same results thereafter... another fine job
I got "procure" instead of "recoup." Fun!!
There is an alternate solution. Up-Pud-Dupe-Duper-Poured-Produce. Albeit not the nicest words known to man but valid, nonetheless.
I had puce instead of coup for the fourth one....nice teaser though!
Thanks guys for your great comments (mostly).
Adrianlvr, why was it "stupid"? Was it because YOU didn't have the capacity to work it out? I can see why you have bad karma. Grow up!

Another great teaser.
(Nicely said Jazz!)
(Nicely said Jazz!)
I used 'couped' not 'recoup' to get to the solution, which I think is a valid word...I did it in my head, instead of writing it down which makes this tyope of mental juggling even more fun...thanks
I got "Couped" as well until i saw the answer
I had CROUP instead of COUPE, but all else I'm good on.
Your instructions said to shuffle each time. This should have been stated as an option and not a requirement.

PUR is listed on dictionary.com as an alternative spelling for PURR, so it's good to use I say!
Also, PROCURE doesn't work because it has two Rs, and what is POUCE?

I ended up with produce, but not the same as the author. I did not use the same letters in each one. Guess I was wrong, but it worked.
I needed a little help from the net to get the fifth word

Usually I have oddball alternate answers but this time it was almost exactly the official answer I did have puce instead of coup, but other than that it was the orthodox answer. I always like alternate answers anyway; it's fun to see what U can PRODUCE.
Step 5, rendered by some as "recoup," could also be "croupe," the part of a quadruped's body that corresponds to the human buttocks.
Nice easy teaser, with multiple solutions, thanks!
Instructions should have been: shuffle when necessary?

Grrr.... no matter how long I pondered this I just could not find "recoup". D'oh. Nice puzzle! I had fun not solving it.
Fun, easy and entertaining teaser; I got them all but it took a little while.
