Library Lunacy
A public library suddenly announced that each member could borrow an unlimited number of books and not return them for up to six months. Why?
Answer
The library was moving to a new building, but due to poor budgeting, they had little money left for the move. By giving borrowers extra time, it ensures that the borrowers moved most of the books.Hide Answer Show Answer

I suppose
Generally, in most libraries you are allowed to check out and then return them anywhere, as long as it's in the same city. But, still, good teaser! It had me thinking!
Obviously run by the typical local council!
town councils haha you right bout that!
Like it. I thought the building had caught fire, but if that happened no one would want to stop to collect books would they. guess I was just being dumb!!
I kinda guessed something like that.
I dont think this teaser should be in the "logic" section.

You know, my town just built a new library and it cost quite a bit, too bad no one thought of this!
I liked this one. I thought the library was being remodeled and they were trying to get as many books out of the way as possible.
Clever!
ok, they'd lose all their books that way since all the patrons get unlimited books- hope they'd have a good legal stance to collect late fees & lost fees on all of them
