Peper is no where to being sweet.
roketgirl, the "twin" in this case is sugar. "twin" implies that the other LOOKS just like it, as sugar does. make sense? pepper would be salt's partner, not it's twin.

I think the key to "more precious than gold" are the words "in you". Without salt in our bodies, we would be deficient nutritionally. We don't need gold in us, just on us!
