all but 2 means anything except 2.
joe's a dimwit!
If it can be any number "but 2" then how do you exactly end up with only one answer and that is a"1"???
ok..i think i can see how to get the answer after SEEING the answer, but getting it without looking, i don't kno how to. but after looking, you kno there are 3 animals. all horses but 2 -- that leaves 1 is a horse, and etc for the cow and pig. but getting the 3 animals in the first place, i have to go with megan....i don't see how all but 2 can neccesarily equal 1.
ok then again...rethinking this here. all horses but 2, that leaves an infinite amount of numbers. but when he says all cows but 2, if 2 are NOT cows, then you can have a max of 1 horse, because it said in the horses 2 others are different animals. so you kno there is a cow and a horse. then it says all are pigs but 2. so that goes the same for the horse and the cow. therefore, my previous post then takes over. i THINK that is the logic behind it...correct me if i'm wrong. geez that looks complicated lookin back...,lol...but its the best i can do at explaining.
