7-5x3
5+7x3
7+3x5.

I'm with starriddler - confused b/c started with "By using the same 3 digits"...
I'm sorry, I thought my instructions were clear enough, and I do see all your points.
I thought I have to use the digit "3" three times.
So I came up with
33 - 3 = 30
3^3 + 3 = 30
3! * 3! - 3! = 30
But thats only 3 ways.

Kudos to pating for coming up with ways that even the author didn't think of. So, there are actually 6 ways to do it instead of just 4.
I thought the same thing starriddler did and couldn't come up with anything.

In all fairness, I never said I thought there were only four ways. I just asked for four ways -
..... I thought 10+10+10 would work but i said no way! it said same digits! silly me.
I had
3^3 + 3 = 30
4! + 4 + SQRT(4) = 30
5 x 5 + 5 = 30
6 x 6 - 6 = 30
9 x SQRT(9) + SQRT(9) = 30
Didn't think about using roman numerals, so I only found five out of the four solutions.
