Infinity Divides Infinity
What do you get when infinity divides infinity?
Answer
The answer is indeterminate (it could be any number).Infinity is an unknown number. We can't say that the numerator infinity is exactly equal to the denominator infinity.

The answers actually have no definition
Hence undefined

As I have commented before, infinity is a concept - not a number. It makes no more sense to ask what is infinity divided by infinity then to ask what is sexism divided by sexism. (The answer is certainly not equal to 1. 1 is defined, while the expresion you refer to, has no definition.)
And what happens when you divide one infinity by a smaller infinity (e.g. the set of real numbers by the set of integers)????
when he/she doesn't define a realm you automatically define a number of the real set, R, since infinity isn't a theory, its actually an arithmetic series that doesn't end, if you were to divide each set you would divide each number and actually recieve an infinite set in return.. i.e {1,2,3...}/{1,2,3...} yields 1, 1/2, 1/3, etc.
yeah, that is definitely undefined.

The text book mathematical answer is aleph-null.
Which is an mount the human mind CANNOT comprehend, yet DOES exists.
Unlike 1 which is a linier amount, Infinity is a non-linier amount. There is NO such thing as a big infinity or small infinity. The amount has no beginning and no end. So any concept of infinity has the same amount. Yet it IS an amount. We were not here when it began and, we could NEVER last on this earth long enough to write it down. It exists on another dimention. Only the Creator of the Cosmos is infinite and cannot be divided 'by' Himself. He is 'I AM', not ZERO.
If not so, the sun would burn out, the gravitational pulls of the universe would wear off, and matter would cease to exist.
At least that's what Albert Einstein concludes, but what does he know?

What if infinity were the product of variables i, n, f, i, n, i, t, and y? If none of them were zero, the answer would be one. Hmmm? HMMM??!?!?!?!
What a load of rot has been written here. Is there anyone on this site who really understands set theory because that is what this is getting down to. In ordinary Mathematics, infinity is a concept, not a number and as such it cannot have operations performed on it (as has already been stated here in these comments). However, in set theory, other constructs such as the Aleph nomenclature have been defined as the 'cardinality' of a set (the set containing an infinite number of elements). This cardinality can have certain operations performed on it with alarming results. w + 1 = w for example, which in normal Mathematics would render W equal to 0. Also w + 1 is not the same as 1 + w in set theory. Many of George Cantor's propositions have been questioned by Mathematicians at certain stages in History. In fact Cantor was declared insane and institutionalised - some claim that's what happens when you try thinking to hard about stuff like infinity. Maybe it's starting to happen to me!
Aargh I hate it when ppl talk about infinity, I prefer actual real #s, this is the only thing I don't LUV about math!
It makes my brain hurt!
