Good riddle, but I must point out, that Y is not a vowel as far as I know, and this makes point 2 false. (Mickey = Mck, should be Mcky).
I refer you to the discussion on the vowel-less knights #5, wherein several people pointed out that y is sometimes a vowel, and sometimes not. In the case of this teaser, the "y" you are questioning is serving as a vowel. As a side note, I had actually left it in, and had the teaser rejected because of it.
