Brain Teasers
Relationships #7
Group
These brain teasers rely on your ability to recognize groups of common attributes. For each of these puzzles you'll need to figure out why the words or letters are grouped as they are. Sometimes you will be asked to pick the odd-one-out or to place a new word into the correct group.Group
In this teaser your job is to discover what all the words in COLUMN A have in common with each other.
The words in COLUMN B do not have any relationship with COLUMN A or with each other. They are there to help you check your theory for the words in COLUMN A. COLUMN B is also there to eliminate answers that are technically correct, but trivial, such as 'words with less than 12 letters', and so on. Good luck!

That was really good! But I found it hard. This helps my English
Thank you Jazz
I never get purpose of B
You guys win...I wont do any more Column A and Column B teasers.
I thought Column B worked pretty well. The consensus is: they don't. That's fine. You win some and you loose some considering the many I have submitted over the past 2 years. I certainly wont be losing any sleep over them!
once the concept is understood, there is no challenge left to these. Glad you're opting out of new A B teasers. Most of your teasers are great.
I got this one!
This was the easiet one so far. I think it's because that last couple ones have added letters to the words, so that was the first thing I tried. Maybe do something else with the group of words. We've got your number.
And, finally! I'm glad to see you that you see to get rid of Column B! Yippee!

I agree it is time to eliminate column A & B .These type teasers are getting stale.
The easiest puzzle ever - much too easy - bit boring.
I got it, I got it!! First time for one of these. Thanks Jazz for posting. I just ignored Column B, didn't need it, didn't use it, wasn't bothered by it. Great teaser.
You may want to amend your directions to refer to GROUP A and GROUP B instead of COLUMN since the teaser itself uses groups, not columns. Just a suggestion!
From a left brain approach, you can also say that all the words in column A have the same vowel consonant relationship:
C C V C
and none of the words in column B have this same format.
C C V C
and none of the words in column B have this same format.
took all of 10 seconds to Answer
I agree with most of the others today. The first 2 puzzles taught me how to handle this one. Very easy, when you know how.
kinda easy and i wasnt even paying attention
You can please some of the people most of the time, but you certainly cannot please everyone all of the time...(something like that anyway!)
