Trains
Two trains, going opposite directions, enter a tunnel at exactly 12:00. There is only one track, and there is only room in the tunnel for one train at a time. Never the less, three minutes later, both trains come out of the tunnel on the opposite side they came in. How is this possible?
Answer

If you are using a 12 hour clock format, you must specify am or pm. If you don't, then by convention the time is written in the 24 hour format.
ie 12.00am is midnight, 12.00 is midday in two different time formats.

Even though you weren't really specific about the time, I still thought it was easy. Nice try.
You also need to notify that the trains are going at each other. It is possible that they were going opposite directions.
cathalmccabe, I quite agree. I said they travelled through on differnt days.
cowcowloverjr, is there a difference between going at each other and going in opposite directions? Or do you think they started in the middle of the tunnel without ever going in?
