An alterntive answer could be: "some bugs in the program". (Bacteria are sometimes referred to as "bugs".)
I could not get this one. I had to look up the definition of the phrase after seeing the answer.

Nothing was added by making this a computer program. The only thing that matter was that it was a math problem. Get rid of BEGIN, END and the semicolons and it's the same teaser without the computer program.
