Some of the clues were confusing. In #5, "the one whose cake was frosted like a donut..." Well, I like my donuts with chocolate icing, so I wouldn't think glaze first. And in clue #2, when most people think of vanilla, they think yellow or white (like vanilla ice cream). I know it said a vanilla bean, but I could see how some people might get confused.
I like the twist to the clues. I didn't need the hint nor clue #10, but it was still fun.
i agree with megren about the clues but it was still a good quiz
Totally lost on this one. I guess I need to take more time and try to reason this type of teaser out. Thanks for posting.
I liked the twist about the vanilla bean... however, I expected *that* to be the hint, not about the candles. :-)
I thought this was just too imprecise for a logic problem. I had to make assumptions - such as Felipe being Mexican just because of his name. How would I know that? I know Mexicans named Tim, too!!
For some reason I thought the "wax" was glaze! I got it wrong!
I liked this one, even though I found it a bit easy.
I did not like the assumptions you had to make in the clues. Particularly about the "Mexican Man"... I find that to be boarderline offensive.
I also found the Mexican assumption somewhat offensive. And overall I didn't care for this puzzle. The logic component of it is trivially easy; the rest is just a guessing game with imprecise clues.
Irrational clues.
