Brain Teasers
Do Not Tap on the Glass.
Situation
Situation puzzles (sometimes called lateral thinking puzzles) are ones where you need to ask lots of yes or no questions to figure out what happened in the situation. These are good puzzles for groups where one person knows the puzzle and answers the questions.Situation
A man works at an aquarium. Every day he spends a large chunk of his time trying to stop people from tapping on the glass at the shark tank. Finally, fed up with it, he comes up with a solution. The solution works perfectly; the next day no one taps on the glass. However, he is fired for it. What was the man's solution?
Hint
The plan took some effort to do and not everyone could accomplish it.Answer
The man painted a crack on the glass. Fearing it would break, no one touched it. However, since it made the aquarium seem unsafe and it scared the patrons, he was fired.Hide Hint Show Hint Hide Answer Show Answer

Nice 1! Out of all the options i put down for myself, neither of them came out to be your answear. Nevertheless, had such fun! Thank-you for the teaser
Hahaha! So funny!
nice! i had no clue; i thought he might have put up some sign or a picture of a shark..I guess I should have thought harder. the hint wasn't much good for me; maybe if you said he had just taken an art class..
I actually got it... proof not that I'm intelligent, just that I have a sick sense of humor. :-) And that it's a valid brain teaser, of course.

This was a fun activity, however I felt there were too many possibilities. The punch line was good, however it didn't leave me intellectually satisfied. Keep up the good work though, thank you!
i loved the humor of this teaser
I liked it. Only problem...
1.The hint was a bit inaccurate. I think almost anyone could draw a crack.
Overall rating: 8/10

I thought the answer would be "he electrified the glass and killed someone!!!"
Vicious thought Ms M., not a good solution, but a solution, nevertheless.
I thought he made a crack in the glass, but he did not draw the crack. Either way he cause the Zoo money and lost feelings of safety. It might take a while to regain patron's confidence.

He was right, not everyone can do it. Yes, anyone can paint cracks, but to do it in a very realistic manner that no one even dared to touch the glass, it requires skill and effort.
I thought he used his pet tiger or something.
I thought perhaps he got fed up and either painted the glass black so no one could see the exhibit, Or... just broke the glass himself thereby killing the sharks and being fired!
I loved this one!
but, even the thought about going into a shark aquarium with a crack scared me bad!

I thought he locked the door and kept people out. That would be a little extreme and would definitely alienate the customers, cut into profits and get him fired. They didn't say he was SMART!
Creative.
I figured he stole the shark.
well idk
Nice and creative, but there are too many solutions...
*tap tap tap!*
I had this weird idea about lowering the top of the aquarium glass to five feet so that people would be afraid that if they touched it the shark would realize how close they were and jump out and eat their hand off...
Aha, a clever one. Bravo, my friend.
