This might have been a bit more challenging if every transformation from the first to the second word hadn't involved dropping a terminal "l."
Thanks for your comment. After this series of teasers, I also did one in which every dropped letter was different. See the other Behead and Curtail teasers!
I love these! Great job!!
Pretty easy, but did make me think a bit!
Got the first one wrong until I looked at the hint. ^.^

I have to agree with the others. I like these puzzles a lot, but it gets too easy when it's the same letter for every word.
No hint needed, went through them all easily without a pause. Fun!
Fun teaser. Had to do a bit of thinking.
I like the curtail puzzles, but do find that they are pretty easy when the letter to be dropped is the same. Your puzzles in which we are not given the letter to drop are a lot more challenging.
Still a lot of fun do do though.

I didn't even notice the title, so I didn't know they were all going to be "L." But I still got them all fairly easily. Good teaser
did miss one, but had fun with 'em all!
Nice teaser, and I did not mind them all eliminating the "L." You still had to figure out the correct definition.
I did not realize you had to curtail "L". I got all the words but pastel. Very fun and entertaining teaser.
I got stuck on the last one - I really wanted it to be putty!
Easy teasy. But, also fun. There was enough content to make it entertaining. I like this series.
Fun, easy and entertaining teaser; I got them all this time very quickly. I got paste/pastel easily this time unlike three years ago when I could not get it.
