Situation
Situation puzzles (sometimes called lateral thinking puzzles) are ones where you need to ask lots of yes or no questions to figure out what happened in the situation. These are good puzzles for groups where one person knows the puzzle and answers the questions.Situation
On my way home from soccer practice, my dad decided to do something daring. He wove through a construction site (legally) and arrived at an old radio station he used to work at. He took my hand and said, "Emily, there's something I've always wanted to do. Come with me."
I followed him to the station's massive radio tower a little ways away from the station. He said, "We're going to touch the top of the tower." I knew it was entirely possible, so my dad and I touched the very top of the radio tower.
No, I can't fly. There were no planes involved, or lifts, or really any aid in taking us to the top. Also, let it be known that I can't climb more than two feet off the ground without falling. So, how did we do it?

Hint
What were we doing before we got to the radio station?Answer
The old radio station had been vacant for years and was going to be torn down. The radio tower had just been demolished, and it was lying on its side. That was the reason the construction site was up.

IM FIRST WOOHOO!!!
Whoopie Ding, Croc Now how about an intelligent comment about the teaser?
Cute teaser - although I think they would have disassembled the tower as they took it down - not just laid it over on it's side- even a 100' tower takes up a lot of room laying down and most radio towers are 200' and up. But then again, I may be overthinking this one. As usual...

Hey, be nice to Croc. We're all friends here.
I thought maybe the tower was in a gully or next to a tall hill, but I admit that's still far fetched; it's unlikely you'd still be able to reach across to the top.

Though far fetched, it's still a clever idea!
Pretty easy... Like the teaser though
I like the way you think - nice teaser!
The Tower teaser is a good idea, the second mention of the Tower makes the trick/situation unreal. Thats all.
Still better than I did.

i didnt get it though
Maybe only half of the tower was laying down. Anyways, I thought they climbed up the top of the tower, and he's busy from work before that restrained him from doing what he wants. :-/
