Riddle
Riddles are little poems or phrases that pose a question that needs answering. Riddles frequently rhyme, but this is not a requirement.Riddle
Turn me to your favourite setting
Then get ready for a wetting
A slight twist can affect my strength
And my tail can vary by length
How might you be refreshed today?
I think you might enjoy my spray
By design I am full of holes
I'll help you reach your cleaning goals
But to assist in this pursuit
You must be in your birthday suit
What am I?

Answer
a showerheadlines 1-2:
Showerheads often have various settings from which to choose e.g. pulsing, continuous spray, etc.
lines 3-4:
Some of the settings spray water with more energy (water pressure) than others. So adjusting the showerhead from one setting to the next can affect "my strength". The "tail" is the hose through which the water travels.
lines 5-6:
Many people find showers refreshing.
lines 7-8:
A showerhead has holes through which the water comes out. A shower, and thus a showerhead, can help one clean oneself.
lines 9-10:
In order to get clean by taking a shower, one needs to be undressed.
For the hint, since a showerhead can be used in a shower stall, it has an "in stall" application.
For those of you who appreciate puns, it may be worth noting that if the application is installed improperly, there may be "downstream issues".

Thought it was a hose until I read the last line. I got it right anyway .
Having great fun with it. This indeed is one way of exercising our brain. I'm going to recommend this site to friends. Exercises for Aging Brain
I thought it was easy but it's nice to have a riddle one can actually get. I plan to share this with a group of older folks I visit. Riddles are great for the aging brain. Therapists tell me they keep the brain sharp. Obviously it's more fun if you can get a few of them right. Thanks for this one.
Good riddle. A long explanation isn't really necessary.
