Brain Teasers
Final Destination
Situation
Situation puzzles (sometimes called lateral thinking puzzles) are ones where you need to ask lots of yes or no questions to figure out what happened in the situation. These are good puzzles for groups where one person knows the puzzle and answers the questions.Situation
Two people are travelling across the country. They both leave from the same city, and both have the same final destination. They also both leave at the exact same day and time. One travels by bus, and the other by aircraft. However, the bus passenger arrives before the passenger on the aircraft.

Lol, loved it. I also thought the plane went the opposite way while the bus went straight. Therefore the plane went a longer distance to get to the same destination.
Also you didn't say which country. Taking a plane across a small country (e.g. Vatican City, or Monaco) would probably be more time consuming all things considered. :p

The teaser doesn't say the aircraft is an airplane. Blimps are pretty slow.
Clever. I was thinking in terms of the aeroplane having to wait to land or the passenger took time in the arrival area. In real life short trips are often faster by bus because getting in an out of an airport is so slow. The puzzle says they left at the same time though so we are measuring from take-off, but if arrival is getting to the hotel it could be delay at destination. But the answer here is better.
