Brain Teasers
Model Modification 6
Have you ever been stuck in traffic, staring at the vehicle ahead of you?
Did you notice the make and model? Now you can use that to your advantage.
Each clue below takes the model name of a vehicle and modifies it to form a normal English word.
Any letters in quotes must be added to the model name (either before, after, or inside).
See how many you can figure out.
Example: Don't be greedy! Inserting "PERABU" into this Plymouth model is just too much.
Answer: SU-PERABU-NDANCE, a modified Plymouth SUNDANCE. A "superabundance" is an excessive amount.
1. If you try to start this Mercury model with "DI", it will not work.
2. Imagine this Dodge model beside a "DIAG"; I can just see how it works.
3. If you want to ship this Mitsubishi model out of the country, add an "RT".
4. Need to recharge? Drive this Kia model backwards to get electrical conductors.
5. Insert an "AD" to change this Ford model from a getaway into a mischievous adventure.
6. With "U" inside this Plymouth model, instead of a traveller it will be a fur-trading boatman.
7. This 1990 Buick model wasn't a boat, but inserting a "G" makes it a series of boat races.
