Nice one.
There are so many "sensitive topics" these days.

Thanks Tilley!
No criticism for the Rebus effort. And, TFF, I'm pleased you got it through the 'Ed thicket'.
The teaser does, however, clearly violate one of the restrictive FAQ rules for Rebuses;
"+Use of "sound-alikes" when not a homophone."
'Topic' and 'top pick' are somewhat sound-alike but are clearly NOT pronounced alike and are not thusly homophonic.
If this were nothing but a careless error on the part of the Editors I would not raise the issue. But I've had similar Rebus offerings rejected because of the rule.
Also, your offering did NOT appear as a "Review Teasers" option or I would have certainly registered my objection to it at the time. So it was - perhaps - approved 'out of queue' which is something I've also accused the Editors of doing. If your offering was approved EARLIER than six weeks after submittal, then the 'queue' notion is a total sham because I've had offerings many times (and even now) awaiting for that length of time or longer.
I've brought these issues up with the Editors (and Jake) many times through Private Messages and each time they've denied favoritism or have given no reasonable explanation for the 'queue' failure or the sham of the 'one-week' review.
I was even told once by an Editor (in so many words and I'm paraphrasing, here) ...
'Shut up and enjoy the few that you DO get approved'.
Thanks for the vent. Keep posting. You do good stuff.

To the best of my knowledge, with the exception of the site owner, I follow the same process as everyone else for teaser submissions.
I'm sure you do, TFF. I remember reviewing this teaser.
You got me on this one. I thought the use of top pick for topic was very clever. Well done!
Thanks Snowdog.
