Another well-crafted riddle. How wonderfully we are designed!
Thanks Tilley.
Terrific. For whatever reason, I did not jump right to "stem" from the first line, because I focused on it's being displayed on a shelf (d'oh!). But I worked back from "cell" and saw the shelf was for meter and rhyme. Creative as always! Well done.
This is the first time I've seen one of these riddles where you bent the rhyme with "health". I'm not complaining. I have been amazed how strictly you have adhered to your own structure. I'm interested to see what comes out if you relax your own imposed limitations.

The first line is exactly as you described. But it also deliberately contains the "feature" of a red herring, which, unfortunately (or maybe fortunately from my perspective), misled you temporarily.
You're right that the approximate rhyme using "health" is a departure from my usual strict and self-imposed rules for this type of riddle. However, I wouldn't want to stray too far from my structure for this type of riddle, for example, turning it into a non-rhyming riddle, since, I believe the rhyming aspect of this type of riddle is critical to its appeal.
I appreciate your keen observations as always. Thanks for your comments, Snowdog!

The misdirection in line 1 was fortunate and worked perfectly.
I agree the rhyme and rhythm of these riddles is the most interesting part. I don't know if many of your readers stop to appreciate the work that goes into your wordcraft.

Nicely crafted, the included distraction added to the fun-factor; 2 easy otherwise!
Thanks!
Thanks!
