This wonderful self-referential multi-layerd teaser is so well crafted. Not only is the teaser creative in the way it breaks down the answer it sections, the presentation is in the form of rhyming couplets. Either mechanism on its own presents a challenge. Combining them is truly impressive.
Plus, the teaser was fun to solve, so three level of coolness.
On my favorites. Definitely.

Thanks Snowdog!
Definitely not my thing. I did not like it at all. You have to be smarter than me to get this one!! Sorry!
I think it was brilliant!! One of my all time favorites, if not #1. Who would have thought they were so many words buried in "brainteaser." And Beautiful he hinted that. I totally missed "per se"
Correction: "... And beautifully hinted at..."
I got it after solving line 6
Fun!! Nice that it's not 13 or 16 years old

It's terrific to see this one hit the Teaser of the Day so it can reach a wider audience. ThinksForFun has been rather prolific in their teaser creation. There are a lot of great new teasers waiting on the web site if you sort descending by creation date. Come see!
Fun and enjoyable teaser; it took a little while but I was able to get this one. Very cleverly put together and a good challenge. Thanks for submitting Thanks for Fun.
Sorry about that. Thanks for submitting Thinks for Fun.
Partly solved it, but far 2 cryptic 4 me I'm afraid, and not much fun.
My 1st is...., my 2nd is....( 1st what, 2nd what )?!

Thanks for your comments. It's always more fun when you're able to solve a puzzle as opposed to getting stumped, but if it's too easy, then it's not much fun either. I'm glad to see the reception is positive overall.
That was a fun one. I didn't ultimately get it, because I read the 2nd one wrong and put "rains" instead of "rain", so I was left with brains and could only think brainstorm and none of the other clues fit. Oh well. I should've kept at it.
Glad you liked it, Livigs.
