Bad Hand
What is the worst hand possible in poker? Assume there are no jokers, and aces are high.
Hint
Don't forget about straights.Answer
2-3-4-5-7, with at least one card of a different suit. If your hand was 2-3-4-5-6, you'd have a straight. If you said 2-2-2-2-3, you'd have four of a kind.Hide Hint Show Hint Hide Answer Show Answer

Good one, but make sure the cards are not in the same suit, or you'll have a straight!
Whoops, I mean a flush!
Actually, it is 2, 3, 4, 6 & 7. 2345 & 7 gives you a baby straight.
i don't know who taught you to play poker but there is no such thing as a baby straight.
100% origional!
In terms of straight poker rankings, that's
right. In practical terms, though, the
answer might well be "a royal flush with an
extra card stuck to the back of one of them
that you don't notice until the showdown"
(fouling your hand and disqualifying you from the pot).
Think about how much money you would have put in the
middle with each of the two hands.

ok i thought u meant ur sealt had with 2 cards in that case it would be 2 7 un-suited because u have low cards with low kickers if and only IF you happen to get a pair for a pair AND u have no way to get a strait on top of that no chance to get a flush. so worst hand IS 2 3 4 5 7 but i thought u just meant dealt hand so i said 2 7 o well kewl teaser i love pocker hope for many more from you!!

Mogmatt, I think when Yogi referred to a baby straight he/she was meaning an A, 2, 3, 4, 5. This is only possible if you draw another card, however. I am more familiar with Texas Holdem, however, where there are two cards, and I think there are a few minor changes, so just let me know if I'm wrong.
