Sunken Boat
Situation
Situation puzzles (sometimes called lateral thinking puzzles) are ones where you need to ask lots of yes or no questions to figure out what happened in the situation. These are good puzzles for groups where one person knows the puzzle and answers the questions.Situation
On a fine sunny day, a boat was in the harbor. All of a sudden, it began to sink. There was no storm and nothing was wrong with the boat, yet it sank right in front of the spectators' eyes.

Point taken Clark, but if at least he metioned wat i could do better i wudn't mind rather jus a simple diss at it.
Being pedantic, I'm not sure a submarine qualifies as a "ship".
Wow! Can i believe what I think i read. Clarke made a spelling error, maybe he should learn how to spell.
Harbors are too shallow to allow a submarine to dive.
When a submarine submerges it does not sink. A submarine can sink like any other ship. You did ask for comments!
I did ask for comments, and I thank you for your "valuable" contribution. However, Oxford Dictionary begs to differ with your comment.
'sink v. (sank, sunk) fall or come gradually downwards; make or become submerged...'
May I ask users, in future, to make sure that they know what they are remarking about, before critisizing.

Wow - I can see why no one's bothered to comment before if that's how you're going to respond to constructive criticism.
There is difference between constrcuctivive critism and being rude. I agree with the author, if you are going to say something comment on how to better the teaser. We have all seen better. I"ve seen better teasers than my own. We will continually see better or the site has no purpose. This site is one of the places that people like because "most" of the users are courteous.
There's definitions of words and then there's proper usage. If a sub sinks, it's disabled on the bottom. A sub submerges, or dives, when it's a controlled evolution. I know, I've dived at least a couple dozen times on a sub. Also, subs are called 'boats', but they are ships as well as surface vessels (known as targets).
I think Paul has made a valid point. Are you going to argue with that, Nutty?
