Brain Teasers
One Time, At Band Camp
Mogmatt starts out on the 50 yard line with the west goal on his left and east goal on his right. He takes 8 steps marching forward, right slides for 4, back marches for 8, left flanks and marches for 16 counts, halts, and does an about face. Every 4 steps is 5 yards. Which goal is he now facing, and what yard line is he on?
Hint
On a slide you remain facing forward and turn as if that is the direction your are marching.Answer

i am sorry that should read every 8 steps is 5 yards
Matt, you're going to have to explain why 8 steps is five yards. By my calculation (and apparently some of the other editors), this would leave you at the 42 1/2 yard line, not the 35.
ok, my math was wrong, the teaser is correct as is, but steps normaly are 8 to 5 and not 4 to 5.
Yea, the teaser is correct...Cuz i just finished Band Camp...i am a Majorette that cant march, but i know a 8 to 5 step and a 4 step interval.
Good one... did you make it up or did you take it from your actual drill?
