great- Nutty
I don't get it.
liked it
very nice!
If there's one bad Entury teaser, I haven't heard it!
I thought it was "the last part of the century". Not bad.
I agree -- I thought that this was 'the end of the century.' A good teaser, but with many reasonable answers.
Haha, I thought it was "U in ENTRY" which didn't make alot of sence too me, but still... there is a U somewhere in that ENTRY there..
can someone explain? (I get the "no see" part, and that a century is a long time...?)
C = 100, and ENTURY = years
C + ENTURY = 100 years
C + ENTURY = 100 years
I thought it was the turn of the century, but your answeres good to!
Very very good one.
VERY sweet teaser!!!
me like, me like!!!!!

I thought it was end of a century Peace out and Blur rule.
Very cute.

I would say 'the end of the century'
CENTURY means 100 years, a long time. and ENTURY doesn't have the letter C which sounds like SEE. hence, long time no see.
Great teaser! Fun!

loved it.. g*job...
another good word to my vocab..
another good word to my vocab..
Isn't that one in Dingbats?
the answer is obviously long time no see.
Century is a long time, and if you take the C away then there is no C so it's long time no see
Century is a long time, and if you take the C away then there is no C so it's long time no see
kind of a stretch. but i liked it
Cute teaser. ;)
i think that was pretty much the hardest teaser iv'e ever seen !
very cute- i loved it
I knew it was century but didn't make the onnection. Outstanding rebus. On fav list.
I thought it was going to be something like 0 because century is 100, but subtract C which means 100, and you would have nothing. Clever.
wicked teaser
Tough! Could've been a few answers to that one.
Easy...but still really fun!
How about-The end of the century?
please everyone,,,,,,,,,read and enjoy,,,,,or dont read,,,if you can do better ,, lets see it,,,i thoght it was clever and worthy
I feel bad when I don't get them right, You made me feel bad:-(
Good one
Good one
That was cute!!
Very Very Clever...I kept trying to see what I could come up with using century. One of the best Rebus I have seen..wtg!!
cute
this was the hardest one I've seen so far didn't get it
A heraldic entrance of court jesters accompanied by trumpets along with much pomp & ceremony.
Well, this was certainly a teaser! I thought it was END OF THE CENTURY too! I like teasers that have different possibilities. Makes U think and I love looking at everyone's comments! Have a super weekend!
THIS IS AN AWESOME TEASER!!!! I LOVED IT!!!!
Fun
I could swear I've seen this one on Braingle before, because as soon as I saw it, I knew the answer, and believe me, I'm not that smart!
Good one, though!

I love it!
no c
Already in my favs.
Did not have a clue , Good thinking!!!!!
I couldn't get it no matter how long I looked at it.
That was great!!
I'm with POPS....no clue!! But loved it when I saw the answer.
short and sweet. one of my favorite to date. thanks.
I said "End of the Century" and thought it was too easy... That'll teach me to jump to conclusions too quickly.
Good 'un!! Didn't get it but it definitely goes with the favs!!
I'm lost.
Kinda dumb. Sorry.
A classic.
good one i didnt get it
I don't see how you can call this a classic or a fav. Sorry.
???
I liked it a lot. I couldn't colve it but I always give up on these really fast. I thought it was very well written if it is an original.
Thought it meant you (u) were blocking the entry...
did good
did good
That was really easy, but really cute. Even though I knew the answer, I had to read it twice.
That was so cute! I didn't get but one of my favorites anyway! I love rebuses like that! Keep up the good work
At first i didnt get it even tho ive heard it a thousand times i got after a while.
A century is a long time and theres no c in entury
I also thought it was the end of the century
A century is a long time and theres no c in entury
I also thought it was the end of the century
I also knew the word was Century, but didn't make the connection.
OMG, THAT WAS SO GOOD IM LIKE STILL FREAKING OUT HERE!!!!!!!!!!
at first, i went with the obvious answer, "entry"
but then i started to think "T in ENURY? R in ENTUY? U in ENTRY?"
and i still couldnt figure it out!

A good one, but I got ZERO.
Century = 100
C = 100
ENTURY = Century (100) - C (100) = Zero!
Century = 100
C = 100
ENTURY = Century (100) - C (100) = Zero!
Clever!
BAD. Does not make common sense I agree the answer is ZERO.
Good rebus. I didn't get it, but after reading the answer, it makes perfect sense. Thanks for posting.
That was really good. A lol moment when I saw the answer. I too got hung up on the obvious.
To everyone who thought the answer was end of the century or Zero: You're missing the point of a rebus. They are generally a play on words, thus long time no see fits much more perfectly than the other answers.
Very nice, but I have to say I thought this one was a groaner too!!
Ha! That was a good one! I didn't get it, and I suspect that is also why some of these people didn't like it
I thought it should be "zero" C is the roman numeral for 100 and a century is 100 years. So a century (100) minus C (100) is 0.
That was an AWESOMER teaser!! I didn't get it, so you can join the club of the geccco stumpers (not very exclusive, its comprised of just about everyone, even me!) anyway luved the teaser, and am adding it to my faves!
#91 COMMENT!!!
haha!
Okay, well, I thought it had to do something with entry at 1st, too. But right when I clicked the "answer" link, I thought it might have something to do with century. Good one!

I came up with the same as ttam007, 0. It was fun though.
Took me a minute but loved it, very funny!!!
Good one! Got me.
I wasn't thinking of century at all. I was trying to make a saying out of U in entry. You in entry. Like you are a shoe-in. Only something that followed the hint a little better. And I just couldn't get away from that.
I completely missed this one...so I didn't like it...

I didn't realize that it was century without a c. How foolish of me.
It could also be
"the latter part of the century"
Turn of the century would be something like...
C
E
N
TURY
"the latter part of the century"

C

I too got Century, without the C, but I still didn't come up with the right answer.
I too was too quick and guessed END OF THE CENTURY, but of course, long time no C is much better!
It's a very clever rebus... loved it!
By the way, the answer ZERO takes some great thinking...
very impressed by this:
JoradZero:
I got ZERO.
Century = 100
C = 100
ENTURY = Century (100) - C (100) = Zero!

Like a few others, I got "end of a century" and thought "zero" but that didn't seem very clever or funny. Long time no see is a better answer, but I wouldn't have come up with that one! Hope my friends - the gentleman and the "girl" - have a wonderful day!!
Great teaser, unfortunately, I also started out on the "entry" line of thinking, and made my way to zero. I didn't spend a lot of time on it as rebuses are not my favorite puzzle, but doubt I would have ever come up with that answer even if I had a century to do it.
AWOR The reason I didn't comment on this before is I felt it wasn't worthy of a comment and I'm sorry but I still think it was bad. And a to guess who.
"End of the century" made enough sense to me and the stated answer requires an intermediate leap of logic which is not traditional for these.
If you allow for reaches of logic like that, you could also get "my car didn't start" from the name of the Buick model Century - missing the start of its name.
A tiny bit of a cheat in my opinion. Not quite in the spirit of the game.

Not my fave. Not even close. Hi to G and K.
Nice teaser
I thought it was "U are in the entry". I agree with Doehead for a change. Good for the ones that figured it out. or at least said they did.
I was trying to make something like-couldn't see for a hundred years-I enjoyed it though-
I looked at the word and thought 'that is the end to century' BINGO!!
I agree with Doehead on this one. And the people who said it was a groaner.
I guessed with the "end of the century" responder group.
The correct answer assumes a long period of time. While this is clever, perhaps brilliant- a long time relative to what? Not to the history of man, or the universe for that matter. In any case, undeniably a great one!

I came up with the wrong answer that most people responded with, but I liked the author's answer better.
I don't remember seeing this before and seeing it a second time didn't help me figure it out. BUT I did like it a lot and I think it's very clever. Have a wonderful day! VERY sunny here!
I somehow got it. I dont know how.
End of the century.
How about giving me a 'B' for 'End of the century'?
I did not get where the "long time" came in. I understand the no see part, but not the long time. Not my favorite by a long shot.
Duh!
Duh!
Hi Denise "Habs" You gave me a good laugh back in 2014, about your height and your shoe size. It reminds me what my dad used to say about me when I was just a youngster. He would say, "You would be a lot taller if you had not turned up with such big feet" I look back now and think that was a bit cruel for a kid to hear. Nice teaser

Hi Babe, a "CENTURY" (or "Century") is a long time. That's why without the "C", it's "long time no see".
Major groan.
Thanks for your contribution!
I actually thought it was: 'See out the century'?
Not exactly a common phrase, however I have heard it before.
"Long time no see", though much more common seems a bit broad to me!
An 'Eon' is a long time, as opposed to a century.

I could not come up with this one. Never thought of "long time" and could only get the "no C" part.
I thought the answer was "almost a century" or something along those lines. I was sooo convinced until I read the answer!! I thought it was really cute and funny. It sort of became a DUH moment I really loved it and I am putting this one in my pocket!! LoL
