Overlord's Riddle
I can wear boulders into pebbles,
I can eat away at the land.
I am home to predators and prey of old.
All life came from me.
I can never die, but am being added to and subtracted from,
depending on the chance of rain.
What am I?

"All life came from me" - This can't be taken as a definitive statement, as it is a THEORY and not proven as fact (I'm a sucker for semantics!). Your point is taken, however. Where did the name "Overlord's Riddle" come from? Did you make that up?
Never mind, I just saw your username once I voted on the puzzle... =)
i agree with bluetwo, (except with the name thing), for one i am a bornagain christian and so i don't agree with the sea making everything....
it's quite boring too
I totally agree with _wot_9. I too am a born again Christian and believe that God created EVERYTHING in the beginning. (Sorry to be so critical, but this is an important correction) Look at Genesis 1:1!!!!
overlord your wrong....wot_9 is right on
good one, but the last line totally gave it away.
To say that all life came from the sea is no challenge to Christian belief. Many Christians would believe that God could have created life first in the sea.
I'm with jimbo all the way on this one. I for one am a big fan of the "Intelligent Design" theory, but I don't come to this site for religion or theological debate. I come here for the mental exercise. So take a deep breath and calm down.
i didnt come from the sea or i would not be able to drown. and that ape crap is dumb too. hmm come from apes yet they still exist. no brainer
The sea was seperated from the dry land on the third day. Also on that day were all sorts of flora created. It wasn't until the fifth day that sea creatures were created. And finally, in Rev 21, we find out that there will be a time when there is no more sea - "And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea." The "life coming from the sea" is mythology.
