Sock Drawers
Tissue is reorganizing his sock drawer. He owns 107 white socks, 17 red socks, and 3 black socks. He is in pitch black darkness. What are the chances he'll draw 2 pairs of black socks?
Answer
Zero. He only has 3 black socks, therefore he cannot draw 2 pairs of black socks.Hide Answer Show Answer

hahaha you got me, I feel so dumb.
no offence, but a little bit too easy...
Yeah, tissue! I just want you to know I'm a big fan of your work. Is it true you have an ultimate rebus in the makings! I can't wait to see it!
I believe the rebus is called 43rd! Cool!
WAY TOO EASY!!!!

Um, even I could do that math!
HE WOULD PULL OUT 2 PAIRS OF BLACK SOCK
SINCE HE IS IN PITCH BLACK DARKNESS EVERYTHING WOUL LOOK BLACK EXCEPT IF HE HAD NIGHT VISION GLASSES

I agree with Pattymany. When you are in darkness, everything is black. Literally. But anyway, I over looked the part where it said "pair" and just read "2 black socks". Maybe I would have gotten the other answer then. LOL
UH, patymany. Color doesn't change according to the color outside. Just because it is a black tone simply means that you cannot see the actual color, not that the color has transformed. Take a laser for instance. It is red in pitch black. Even if you cannot see it, doesn't mean that it isn't red.
Well, since it is pitch black darkness, all of them would be 'black'.
did you not just see my comment above? It doesn't change the color!
But you can never know the colors then. And why would a tissue need socks?

Is it just me or is tissue here commenting on his work and advertising his own rebus. and another thing you got alota socks man.
Lol, that was awhile ago when I was very new to the site. Sorry about that.
You tricked me, but because you have it as two pair, shouldn't it be two pairs?
There is another way this could be taken - It's pitch black and your question is what are the chances he will draw 2 pair of black socks. I don't know about you, but I would find it quite difficult to draw (literally as in sketch and color) 2 pair of black socks while doing so in the dark!

given that a colour is a reflection of light, different lights do actually change the colour of the item.
Incorrect sweetime. The PERCEIVED color of a red sock in total darkness is black, but the actual color of the sock remains red.
Tissue, do you only have one foot? because you have an odd number of each color of sock...do you just go with different colors?
any way, Good Job

If the room is dark, wouldn't all socks be black?
Read the earlier comments. This is addressed.
I got it.
