The first line fits where you have photos of yourself in a picture frame therefore you're sometimes surrounded by it.
The second is talking of the 'protective' qualities of a picture frame, ie. protecting the picture in it.
The third is commenting on the fact that whether it is a painting or a photo or any style of picture you usually get something framed because you wish to keep it.
The last is talking about after you have framed the particular piece often there is some feeling involved (it can even be a sad feeling) when you look upon the picture.
