I was SURE it was going to be roman numerals, but VII is ALL odd numbers(?). I realized that was wrong, but my mind wouldn't let me explore other possibilities. Nice one!

ok guys im a lil crazy but i thought you would subtract 0 i mean its not an odd number but yet you get an odd number out of it.....oh well its still a good riddle or w/e it is

If you subtract an even number greater than seven then you get a negetive odd number which is still an odd number... That's another way.
What if u subtract 7 is zero not even ?
