Situation
Situation puzzles (sometimes called lateral thinking puzzles) are ones where you need to ask lots of yes or no questions to figure out what happened in the situation. These are good puzzles for groups where one person knows the puzzle and answers the questions.Situation

I realize that this teaser got beaten to death in editing, but to say a man married "A" sister doesn't really pose a problem at all. Lots of men marry someone else's sister.
Nuns are not permitted to marry
maybe she was an ex-nun?
then she wouldve been called an ex-nun
Nuns cant marry and if she was an ex-nun then she wouldn't still be a sister!
Dumbell's correct. Like a priest, a nun cannot marry at all. So this teaser is wrong. But still a good one though (not to hurt feelings ;) )
yeah, that's right - nuns can't marry...maybe you should have checked the truth before posting
i dont think anyone could figure it out because of the truth.

Nuns cant marry.I think this a wrong Teaser

Ever seen Sound of Music? The guy married I nun, well I guess she wasn't a nun anymore after she got married, so this teaser just slipped through the editors...
I'm trying not to be redundant, but nuns CANNOT marry and STILL be a Sister or a Nun. It's not accurate, so you can't get an accurate answer. Still, I guess, it's okay. I mean, it fools people like a Situation teaser should, but it's still not clear enough.
in sound of music she wasnt a nun she was a novice...ie not a full fleged nun...therefore she quit trying to be a nun when she got married......
i agree with all of the above comments (ie: nuns cannot marry)
Igot it. Maybe I watch Sound of Music too much
No I watch the Sound of Music too much! I am anot going to say nuns can't marry b/c everyone else did, but I agree that a man marrying A sister isn't clear enough...lots of peeps are married to a sister!
the question is very wrong, all men that marry women marry sisters, unless the sister has no siblings.
Nuns CAN NOT MARRY
nuns can't marry
Wow, it is amazing to me how many people left comments on here that are SO sure of themselves, but are completely wrong.
Although the teaser is quite easy, it is very possible, and the people who nit-pick it are doing so to be TECHNICAL, and not to enjoy the teasers.
So, TECHNICALLY, a nun could decide that she does not want to be a nun anymore, leave the convent and elope to marry a man. Therefore at the MOMENT SHE WAS MARRIED, she would be a nun. Obviously, she would no longer be considered one afterwards and draw great ire from her convent, but it could happen.
And before people start arguing back, I do realize that the more likely scenario would be for a sister to request to leave the convent, thereby no longer being a nun, in order to meet someone and get married. And that does happen. But a nun COULD, technically, get married.
It's also true that the way it is worded could mean anyone who's a sister of someone else and that would work great. But give the author some credit rather than a hard time for the sake of splitting hairs. Because everyone who tried to split them was wrong. Looks like the egg is not on the author after all.

rp2x1, if that happened, she would no longer be a nun.
