Sound + Sound = Silence
In which situation can 2 sounds make silence?
Answer
It is possible to make 2 sounds which are 'mirror images' of each other.E.G.
Sound 1 + Sound 2 = Silence.
If both sounds were viewed on an oscilloscope the waves of sound 1, would be opposite of the waves of sound 2. Sound 2's peaks and troughs appear to 'fill in' the spaces which sound 1's wave does not. This effect is called Anti-Noise. It is how noise canceling headphones work.

a much easier answer would just be the "sile" sound and the "ence" sound! that makes silence, does it not?
That wouldn't be scientific though, thats why i put this one under science. If the answer were to be what you said I would have put it under trick or something.
I like this teaser. I never knew that about sound waves! Where did you learn this?
